Acupressure points for knee joint pain
Here are a few acupressure points that can be massaged to relieve knee pain:
1) Calf Outside: This point is on the outside of the calf, about four fingers below the kneecap. Massage the area with your fingers in a circular motion or apply constant pressure for 3-5 minutes.
2) Lower leg inside: This point is on the inside of the lower leg, at the same height as the previous point. Apply pressure to this point in the same way as the previous one, massaging or applying constant pressure.
3) Grain Field: This point is located on the palm between the thumb and forefinger. Apply direct or circular pressure to this point with the other hand for 3-5 minutes.
4) Stomach 36 (ST36): This point is on the front of the lower leg, about four fingers below the patella and slightly outward from the lower leg. Massage this point in circular motions or apply constant pressure for 3-5 minutes.
5) Bladder Bladder 40 (BL40): This point is on the back of the leg, about halfway between the kneecap and the heel, in the fossa between the muscles of the lower leg. Apply pressure to this point with your fingers or fist for 3-5 minutes.
